Boiler Service

Gas Safe Annual Boiler Service Leicester | Boiler Servicing

If you’re a landlord or home owner, the gas boiler is the most important appliance in the house. Regular boiler servicing is essential for ensuring safety, efficiency, and reliability in any home or business that relies on a central heating system.

One of the most critical reasons for boiler servicing is safety. Boilers burn fuel (such as gas, oil, or biomass) to produce heat, and improper combustion can lead to dangerous situations such as gas leaks or carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning. During a service, a qualified engineer will check for leaks, test the flue, and ensure that all components are operating safely. Regular servicing helps detect and prevent these hazards before they become life-threatening.

Over time, soot, scale, and other debris can accumulate inside a boiler, reducing its efficiency. A well-maintained boiler operates more effectively, using less fuel to produce the same amount of heat. Regular servicing ensures that all parts—such as burners, heat exchangers, and controls—are cleaned and calibrated for optimal performance.

A boiler breakdown can be both inconvenient and costly, particularly during cold weather. Routine servicing helps identify small issues before they escalate into major faults. By keeping the boiler in good working condition, homeowners and businesses can avoid unexpected breakdowns and extend the life of the appliance.

Many boiler manufacturers require annual servicing as a condition of their warranty. Failure to service the boiler regularly may invalidate the warranty, leaving you responsible for repair costs. Additionally, landlords and commercial property owners are legally required in many regions to ensure that gas appliances are serviced annually for the safety of tenants and staff.

Choose the type of Gas Boiler Service you require

There are two types of boiler services we carry out. A major boiler service and a minor boiler service. We recommend a major service, if it’s the 1st time we are servicing the boiler. The year after a major service, a minor service can be carried out.
